Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun this year. There was a lot of family that came in to town to celebrate with us. We had dinner at Justin's parents this year.

The food was amazing as always. Who doesn't love Thanksgiving food?

Brooke and McKade at their own special table.

All the leaves decided to fall the night before Thanksgiving. The kids had a blast jumping and diving into them.

You know your kid is sick when...

Well I will let you answer that one on your own!

2 Years Old!!!

Wow I can't believe my little girl is already 2 years old. Brooke is such an amazing little girl. She has really come to love Elmo. It is the only movie that she will sit through. She has started talking so much. It is nice to have some conversations with her throughout the day. She is so funny, she has started copying a lot of the things that we say. So when Justin comes home she says "hey honey or hey babe" I'm like, that just doesn't sound right coming from a 2 year old. I know when she is up to something she shouldn't be because she says "see ya mommy or bye bye" like get out of here so you can't see what I'm doing. She is very energized and makes my house look like it's been hit by a tornado everyday. She loves helping me cook and mix things. She has covered me in flour a few times in the process!

The Birthday girl is ready for her cake!Brooke received so many presents. Lucky Girl!
She absolutely loved her bike. She still hasn't quite figured out how to use it, but she will not stop trying. She was so excited for her Birthday that she would sing Happy Birthday when she would wake up in the morning, when she would wake up from her nap, and just randomly throughout the day!

In the Canyon

I don't remember what Canyon this was, but it was so gorgeous. The leaves were so amazing, bright reds and yellows. I felt like we were in a movie. The air was so crisp and clean feeling, even though we were so close to SLC. I wished that we could have spent all day up there to just relax.

Halloween Party

We went up to SLC for a Croft Halloween Party. Justin forgot to tell me that it was a dress up party. So the night before we were leaving I had to search the house for a costume. So all I had that looked costumish was our stuff from Fiji. Justin got lucky to borrow some doctor items from his mom. The party was so fun to see all of the costumes. There was Halloween music playing and some really cool Halloween goodies.

Here's my little duck scooting around on the floor. It was so stinkin' cute. And Brooke of course is trying to copy him.

Landon

Landon is 7 months now. Wow where does the time go. Holy cow. This kid is so stinkin' cute. He has learned how to sit up, scoot around, pull hair, get the girls (haha). He is so much fun. We absolutely love having him in our family. I took these pictures one morning when the sun was shining through our front window. So beautiful.

Brooke

Sometimes that little sweetheart just comes right out of her. It's nice to know that she really does love her brother. Even though it is really hard to have two kids it sure makes it worth it with these melt your heart moments.
Anything that has a handle turns into a purse for this little girl. She kept saying "Bye mommy".

She is just at that age where she copies everything that we do. It was awfully quite when I found her. She had both of Justin's socks and shoes on.
King of the hill! What a great way to watch a movie.
This is Brooke's first painting. She had so much fun getting all the paint on her hands. She is so proud of her artwork. Everyday she points to it and says "picture cute".
Yep, can you see all those teeth! She has six of them coming in at the same time.
We canned peaches last month and had a few left over. I tried to give her a piece that was sliced with no skin on it, but oh no she had to have the whole thing!

Grandma's House

Last month we had a wedding of a friend of the family so Steven and his family came to St. George. My Grandparents made all of us dinner one night. It was a lot of fun. The kids had a blast exploring the back yard and picking veggies out of her garden (to her surprise haha oops) All the kids had a so much fun jumping on Papa's belly and wrestling with Steven. It was good to see everyone.

Hat Day

Landon loved this ball. He would just sit there and string it through his gums.

Yep she knows how to give you that sly look already!
What a stud. We love having Landon as a part of our family. He is always such happy kid. We are so blessed for the wonderful kids we have.
Brooke had to wear her hat since Landon was wearing his. Justin's mom gave him this outfit. It is so stinkin cute!

The Temple

The Temple grounds are so beautiful here. Everytime we go for a walk we love looking at all the flowers. It hasn't been as hot this year and we have had more rain that usual so the plants have done alot better this year.

Orchard

There is a church orchard about 15 minutes from St. George. In church they announced that anyone could go and pick the fruit for three days because it was ripening to fast and it wouldn't be as good for canning. So Justin and I decided to take advantage of the opportunity. The limit was 100 pounds per family. So we got five grocery sacks full. When we brought it home we didn't realize how much that really was. Our kitchen was covered in apricots everywhere. With only half of our apricots we were able to make 49 jars of apricot pineapple jam! The rest was made into fruit leather or dried. We had alot of fun and enjoyed learning some new skills.

Apricots

These tasted so yummy. We ate them right off the tree at the church orchard. There is something that is just so cool about that.
