Yellowstone

We went to Yellowstone for a family reunion at the beginning of the month. It was so fun! We were able to see so many animals. The kids loved seeing all the different ones.
This one is a coyote that a bunch of cars pulled off to see. We were like what is it? Oh a coyote...
There were so many bison.
You had to be careful while driving by them because they would just cross the road whenever they felt like it.
You can't see it in this picture, but there is a herd of buffalo covering the field and the hills.

There was so much steam coming from everywhere. It was kind of scary.
This was Old Faithful. We almost missed it since we had to take a bathroom break. The thing was so small we were all like ok... So we went on a small hike and waited for the next one to go off and we were all a little more satisfied! We watched from the backside and got misted!
Let me just tell you that this place does not smell very good. The nice breeze that would come would always bring the lovely egg smell with it.
There was all these pockets of water all over the place. The water was so clear you just wanted to jump in.
But you might not want to because they all were bubbling because they were so hot!

There were so many beautiful waterfalls!
This one was called the Grand Canyon. It really does look like the Grand Canyon.

This is not snow on the mountain. I have no idea what it was, pretty much like everything you see there. Who knows...

Another waterfall.
This was such a fun vacation. Everything was so amazing and jaw dropping. We were so lucky to have great weather the whole time. Thanks everyone who made this trip happen :)

Justins Graduation

Justin Graduated with his Bachelor in Accounting May 6th! We started off the day with a luncheon. The food was actually really good considering it was buffet. The room was packed full of so many graduates. I think that there was about 1,600 graduates this year. That is the most Dixie has ever had.

This was right before the commencement.
We were so lucky! President Monson came and spoke for Dixie's Graduation this year. He did a wonderful job. He got the biggest cheer and recognition.

Here is the unofficial degree. Sweet, you may have graduated but your going to have to wait on getting proof! The nice red folder came empty.
Congratulations Justin!!!
The road has almost come to an end. I am so excited for Justin to be done with school. I don't know how he has pushed through. He is very strong willed. He has already started his master program and should be done by the Spring. Yay!

Spring Time Fun

Easter at the park sure was fun. Brooke did a really good job collecting all of the candy in sight. Landon picked up a few in the time Brooke filled her bucket. So of course I helped him a little. I still don't understand why they can't give out candy that 1 and 2 year olds can eat. Come on you guys it's not that hard to figure out. Ok maybe it is a guy who is in charge. That would make sense.
The kids had a blast swimming and playing in the sand box at Justin's parents house. It was such a perfect day for it. Landon wasn't super happy about getting splashed by the older kids. It sure makes me want a back yard!
This is our first bike ride with the kids. It was so much fun. Maybe because I didn't have to pull them. They loved it. We are just loving the weather lately. It has been so nice to get outside.
How much entertainment can you get with a roll of tape and a bag of cotton balls? I would have to say a lot! What a blast. We had so much fun when Steven and Carmen came into town. It was fun watching all the cousins play together so well.

Birthday Boy!

I really can't believe my little boy has turned one already. I know everybody says this, but I really do wonder, where did the time go? It is amazing how one minute you remember holding them after they were born and then all the sudden the year has passed you by. This little guy really has been so much fun. He is such a sweetheart. Some of my favorite things about him is how cuddly he is, smiley( he is so smiley and friendly to everyone), his giggle, and his charm. He sure knows how to get the girls already.
I really had a lot of fun making this train cake for him.
Landon was born on Justin's birthday. We had a lot of fun celebrating them together.
Chili dogs anyone? Justin requested chili dogs for his birthday dinner. They sure were tasty!
I don't know if he dares take a lick.
Hmm, maybe I will just taste the spoon, it seems safer:)
My dad!
Justin's Family

Does that face say busted or what? Uh huh!

Creative

Sometimes when your kids get bored out of there minds and you are trying to make dinner you get really creative. I had an extra piece of tinfoil that Brooke got a hold of somehow and my brain got a little light bulb. Ok maybe it went back to the second grade. She thought it was pretty sweet. I thought she looked pretty sweet with those glasses on too!

Duck Park

The kids had a blast at the Duck Park. My mom and I took the kids out to feed the ducks our old bread. But for some reason the ducks weren't too hungry that day. I thought it was kind of disapointing, but the kids didn't mind. They thought the bread was for them anyway! A little mold never hurt anyone right? Bentley brought his fishing pole. He was quite a natural.
