Bath Time

Brooke got another set of her immunizations last week. She did very well considering she spit out all of the Rotovirus liquid and screamed her head off when she got the shots. Can ya blame her?


Brooke is starting to learn how to sit up on her own!

This is one of Brookes favorite toys. She loves watching it race across the floor and try to chase it when it cruises by her. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Matthews and McKade!

Brooke got sick this weekend and was enjoying how different her new voice sounded.
Sometimes I wonder why we buy toys. When everything else around the house is so much funner.

Don't you just wish you could sleep like a baby again?



I let Brooke play on the floor for a little bit while I was getting dinner ready and when I came back in to check on her she wound up with a monkey on her back. I have no idea how she got the monkey on the other side of her body!


We had a ward party on Friday and I was in charge of making sloppy joes. While I was cooking the meat, Brooke was so happy and talkative. She was thoroughly enjoying herself.

Justin and I decided to go for a walk after Conference. Brooke just loves to be out and looking at everything. When she hears a car she has to watch it go by while she clings to you because she is kind of scared of the noise. She is so interested in everything. If I am holding her in one arm and I have something in my hand she has to have it. She will pry whatever I have right out of my hand. She enjoys playing with her toys a lot now. We were sitting in church and Justin was holding her on his lap and her car seat was on the floor and her stuffed lion was in it and she kept looking down at it and would laugh. I think sometimes she thinks her toys are real!

Well we are all doing good. Justin is really busy with school and work. And I am enjoying the time that I get to spend with Brooke everyday. It is so fun seeing all the new things that Brooke can do. Time goes by so fast. I love being a mother.

Brooke loves hangin out with her Dad. She always gets a big smile on her face when he comes home from work.
